Nima Brushes: The Kabuki contour set.

Nima brush is an award winning Irish brush brand established by the beautiful Niamh Martin. They have a wide range of brushes using natural & synthetic hairs.
Between the awards, great reviews & the beauty of the brushes themselves I have been dying to try out these out for ages.

I finally got my hands on her Four piece kabuki brush set, which claims to be great for contouring & they are not wrong. They arrived within two days of ordering them with a delivery charge of only five euro. On arrival they came packaged lovely & neatly in individual sealed bags which I really appreciated because some cheeper brushes tend to come loose.

On first inspection the brushes where so beautiful, white handles with a rose gold ferrule.

The hairs are synthetic which I am all about because they last much longer, are easier to keep & can be used for both cream & powder products. The hairs are sooo soft & fluffy to touch. They where so white to it took me a few days to actually bring myself to use them!

As a set they cost 50 euro, but individually the cost 18 euro.

Domed contour kabuki brush
This brush is just the right size to fit into the hollows of the cheekbones and gives a really gorgeous craved out contour especially when using cream products because its a very dense brush you can bounce the product onto the skin for a really natural finish. I adore how dense the brush is, it makes it so easy to get a really defined contour when using ether cream or powder products. Leaving you with lovely clean lines, It is also great for bronzing the temples of the face too. I have used this brush everyday since I got it & it is such a brilliant brush I love it. You can never seem to over do your contour with this brush as it picks up just the right amount of product letting you build & work up the look that you want. This brush is definitely the most interesting brush from the set, it is unlike anything I own.

The flat top kabuki brush.
Flat top kabuki are my new love for applying my foundation. The trick is to bounce the product onto the skin. At first, I was disappointed with this product as it eat up alot of my foundation compared to other flat topped kabuki brushes. This was probably my own fault for not taking my brushes straight to the sink & washing them when I got them. After washing them they problem was much better.

Angled contour kabuki brush

This brush is the most multifunctional brush of the four. It could be used as a cream or powder blusher brush. It could also be used as a contour/bronzing brush for again ether cream or powdered products. This brush is much more fluffy than the domed contour brush so it gives a more natural finish & is easier to buff out products for a softer finish. I really love this brush, I will definitely pick up another one of these brushes as it is so useful it would be handy to have a second one. It is a brush everyone needs in their collection.

Fluffly kabuki brush.

This is beautiful so fluffy & soft, it distributes just the right amount of powder. I use this to set my foundation using the mac mineralize skin finish powder. This brush gives such a natural finish its my absolute favourite brush of the pack.

As a whole I am delighted I purchased these brushes & will definitly be ordering more from the Nima Brush range. Everything is so reasonably priced & for such high quality. I would recommend them to anyone.

Contour look I created using the four brushes These four brushes make contouring so easy. It is an essential set for any make up lover or beginner you have everything you need for perfecting your face within this set.
