Boots botanics 'All Bright' range.

Boots have a wide range of Botanics products available in stores. Boots work with The Royal Botanics Gardens to pick key ingredients for each one of the Botanic ranges.

The different Botanic ranges boots offer:

Organic-All skin types.

All Bright-Best for normal/dry skin

Radiant youth-Fine lines/radiance.

Triple age renewal-Deep lines/wrinkles.

Shine away- Oily/combination skin

Ultra calm- sensitive skin

I am going to talk about the 'All Bright' range.

So how does this range work?

Each product from this range contains brightening Hibiscus which has a pink hue to it, its extracted from a flower. This flower extract is supposed to mildly exfoliate the skin to soften and brighten. Obviously the following products I am going to review don't feel like a scrub of any sort I think the flower just helps to break down any dull skin cells on the face naturally & of course the pink hue will brighten the skin instantly.   

I have been using these three products altogether for the last three weeks now, although I have been using the radiance balm over a month.

Radiance Balm

This is the first product I tried from the All bright range. I took advice from the fabulous From matte to Metallic girls as I highly trust their opinions!

I was shocked at how amazing it was for being so cheap! I bought it on special at €3.99 but I think its usually around €8 no more than that anyways. 

I would think this cream was a bargain even if it was like €20 that is just how good it is! Its been continuously compared to MAC's strobe cream but I actually like this one better. 

The cream has a pink undertone to it, its very very slightly shimmered given you that glow from within look to the skin! It 100% does what it clams and instantly brightens the skin. 

How I use it:

Mix it into foundation: I use MAC prolong wear foundation which isn't matte or dewy but it is more on the matte side! I just use a drop of foundation and mix it in with this. It gives the skin such a gorgeous dewy finish beautiful for a hot summers day to sheer out your foundations coverage.

This is the dewy look I got from mixing it with foundation, if your worried about being to shinny just go ahead & set it with some powder. I didn't cut my hair if anyone is wondering! its just pushed back.

Or just add it into your everyday skin care routine I apply it over my moisturizer because I just love to be hydrated. Then apply your foundation or just leave your skin with the balm on by itself ether way you will look fresh and dewy. 

THOUGHTS? My skin definitely feels softer & looks brighter straight away after I used this! I can't get enough of this product its just like yaaaaaaaaas!! I have fallen in love. Early mornings don't phase me anymore cause this leaves my skin looking fresh & awake. I tried to stock up on this product but its to hard because its ALWAYS sold out like literally the boots across from where I work got it in at like 9 o clock on saturday I went into get it the same day at like 1 o clock and they legit had one left. So if you can get the chance to get this I urge you too pick it up or contact me cause ill buy it! haha.

I don't feel this is just for dry/normal skin types. It is very light weight so can still be prefect for people with oily skin who still wants a glow to the skin. 

 Radiance serum

The second thing I tried from their range, Is their radiance serum which claims to bright the skin within two weeks. 

Day One of 14

My skin definitely looks glowy/shinny here I think could be slightly to do with the flash from my camera, but it was the first night I used the serum. I applied just my regular moisturizer over it it definitely made my skin look really fresh.

THOUGHTS? I Use this serum day & night. It sinks straight into the skin giving you very little time to move it around on the skin and leaves the skin matte & almost gives the skin a sticky texture. Once you apply moisturizer the stickiness goes away completely. I like that it sinks so quickly into the skin meaning anyone even oily skin types could use it for me its great because I can wear it under my makeup without the fear of my makeup slipping over it. The alpha hydroxy acid in this product slightly worried me at first as it can increase your skins sensitivity to the sun so make sure you wear some sort of SPF or UV protection after applying this. Alpha hydroxy acid is known to be used in anti aging products and skin peels.

Does it work? I don't think it really made that much of a difference I did notice a slight difference coming to the end of the two weeks. There was no even point in taken a picture after the two weeks because their was no big difference. Ill still continue to use it for the rest of the month but there was no miracle to be very honest. 

Hydrating Day Cream SPF 15.

Again there is slight pink hue to this cream not as much as the radiance balm though. I use this cream in the day after I use my serum, like I said you need to put some sort of SPF on after using the serum. This cream doesn't leave the skin as glowly as the radiance balm I apply the radiance balm over it. Although the cream does give the face a lovely fresh & natural glow I find it lovely and hydrating to I also love anything with a SPF to protect my face from the everyday sun. I really like this cream & I would definitely purchase it again as it did instantly brighten my skin. I do feel however it may be a little heavy for people with oily skin my skin would be fairly normal/dry.

Ill definitely try some more products from the all bright range in the future my absolute favorite from the range is of course the radiance balm!
