My favorite single eyeshadows.

This pallet is my holy grail pallet. If I where to only have one eyeshadow pallet it would be this one.

It is a mix of Makeup geek, Fuschia and Mac. The main bulk of the pallet is however Makeup geek. Makeup geek are hands down my favourite eyeshadow formula of all time..(which your probably sick of me saying but its true) I do have an indepth blog post on my makeup geek collection which you can read here.

This pallet is alot of neutrals, I know how boring but there are little pops of colour in there okay don't judge.

It has my three favourite highlight shades for the eyes.
White lies which is a matte white. I like to use this too set my eyeshadow base the white makes all eyeshadows more intense.
Nylon which is an intense frosty yellow based highlight, my all time favorite highlight. Nylon is such an amazing universal highlight it can be used for the brow bone, inner corner or as a face higlight. A little goes a longggg way.
Shimma shimma, slightly less intense with pink undertones. I used these shades to highlight the brow bone and inner corner and sometimes on the lid its very beautiful.

It has peach smoothie & creme brule my go to and trusty transition shades for a warm toned eye.
It also has cupcake the prefect transition for pink, burgandy or purple eyes.

Every pallet needs at least two warm reddy brown colours like Makeup geek (MUG) frappe & cocoa bear.

& of course you need your darker colours for adding defintion like: MUG americano very similar to a mac embark shadow. Its a dark brown with a slightly purple undertone.
MUG Corrupt which is simply a matte black.
Cremebrule, cocoa bear , americano & corrupt

Pops of purples and plums you need mac sketch, MUG bitten & curfew

Creme burle, bitten, curfew , sketch & corrupt.

It contains just the right amount of foiled shadows
Makeup geek: In the spotlight a beautiful champagne colour houdini a gorgeous bottle green duo chorme colour.
Grandstand A beautiful bronze colour which looks beautiful on all skin tones.

& shimmer shadows like mac coppering , expensive pink and amber lights.
Amber lights on the lid.

It also has pops of oranges which I adore.
Mac red brick & MUG chickadee a prefection to add a pop of warmth and brightness to any look. Prefect for summer.
Chickadee as transition shade

I can create lots of eye looks with just one pallet so its so handy for on the go!

My makeup collection: Inglot cosmetics.

Inglot is such an amazing brand. It is so affordable for such good quality. Some of items in my collection I would consider my overall must have makeup items. My kit is like 50% inglot I am obbsessed with the brand.

Freedom system..

The freedom system is a great idea which I love about inglot because most of there products are in the freedom system. Which means you just buy refills rather than repurchasing the packaging all the time.  They have lots of different sized pallets, starting at three slots. The eyeshadows literally do not budge from the pallet which is amazing for clumsy people like me or travelling. (They now have a magnet for €5  to remove the shadows thank god because it was so hard to get the numbers of the eyeshadows before)

Eyeshadows
Inglot Eye shadows wouldn't be my hands down favourite formula of eye shadows if I am completely honest but that doesn't mean they aren't great they are. Don't get me wrong for the price they are amazing quality but I am spoiled by Makeup geek and for me they don't compare especially because they are the same price. Having said that the price of these eye shadows are amazing, they are much larger then most and I have a good few which I constantly reach for so don't take me up the wrong way they are really good shadows. I think what I love about them is that they have such an amazing range of colours! I have 14 of their shadows in total. I would go through the numbers for you but I physicaly cant get the eye shadows out of the pallet to see the number. This is a good thing because the shadows are like magnetically super glued to the pallet so they will never fall out on you and smash. Bad for me because its so hard to tell you my favourites. They do have a magnetic eyeshadow remover for €5. I will get that & up date the blog. All I know is the shadow 55 is my favourite shadow of theirs, it is a Burgundy shadow with flecks of gold but its just so beautiful. My second favourite is their matte yellow shadow 60, alot of people will be scared of this eyeshadow but its sooo beautiful it can be used as a transition shade or as a pop of colour. Trust me you will love this shade just don't let it scare you.
Price: €6 each.

Translucent loose setting powder #216

The setting powder from Inglot is just your typical setting powder. Like most loose translucent powder it doesn't give an extra coverage it just sets the makeup. I like how this powder doesn't make the skin too matte, it just gets rids of excess shine and leaves the skin soft to touch. Nothing really wows me about this powder. Its a good powder but nothing different than I've used before. It does its job but I don't think I will be repurchasing if I am honest. (The tub you get is soo much larger then my tini tiny tub, I got this in my college kit. I don't even think they sell them this small!)

Price:€16.00

Gel liner #77

This is my favourite gel liner ever. I can't sing its praises enough. It is jet black, it dries to a matte finish. I love using this on my self & on clients. If your looking for a gel liner that won't budge then this is for you! I like to use a pointed liner brush too apply it.

The only downside is that its hard to remove but that wouldn't turn me off this product in the slightest I just recommend using a good eye makeup remover.

If your on the hunt for a good gel liner, stop looking because you wont find better! My holy grail liner.

Price:€16.00

Inglot Under Makeup Base:
Unfortunately I can't personally used this primer I have really sensitive skin & this primer breaks me out. I used to use it years ago & I loved it but my skin grew sensitive too it. I do however use it on clients. Its just a great basic primer for everyones skin type so prefect to have in your kit. It just creates a base for the rest of your makeup. Leaving any oil areas matte without over drying the skin. A little goes along way you don't want the skin to feel slippy. I like to let this settle onto a clients skin while I do there eye makeup.

Price: €22.00

Sculpting powders

I love these powders. I used them on clients all the time. The highlight shade is great for setting the undereyes it leaves the under eye nice and bright without been cakey.

The blush is a gorgeous coral shade really gorgeous pigment from it a little goes along way.

The contour shade is nice but I will only used this on very fair clients as it has a very grey undertone to it. Which is ideal for fair skin and can be hard to find that in a contour shade.

Price: €10.00

Freedom lipsticks

This lipsticks both have a cream finish meaning they have a slightly glossy finish. I always use a lip liner with these. The pinky nude is my favourite. These are brilliant for a makeup artists kit or evening if you travel alot and the price is so good.

Price: €6.00

Duraline

This is another one of my must have beauty items. I think everyone needs this product in their makeup bag, any makeup artist would agree. This product has so many uses.
  • It can turn any powder into a liquid
  • It can turn any shadow into a lipstick
  • It can give life back to dried up gels.
  • It can remove any makeup mistakes.
  • Clean gel liner from your brushes.
  • Give more slip to gel liner.
  • Stick glitters/ loose pigments to the eyes.
The list really is endless I'm sure that there is even more tricks with this amazing product. It is definitely a must have.
It will last one ages. I use mine constantly and its lasted me a year.

Price: €12.00

Sparkle dust #02

Another must have inglot product is there sparkle dust. This give such a wonderful highlight. I used this on my cheeks, cupids bow, bridge of the nose and even on my body.

It is one of my all time favourite highlighters, but because it is a loose powder with glitter as much as I love highlighter you have to be light handed. I just start off with a little & build up the highlight.

Price:€20.00

Pigments

I dont understand why I dont have more of these pigments. I think inglot are actually one of the best brands for pigments. I genuninely need to invest it more because they are amazing!

This is such a gorgeous blue toned purple shade depending what shadows you pair this with really can change the colour its beautiful.

Pigment #85
This pigment is sooo like Mac blue brown pigment.  It is beautiful it is a Burgundy brown base with petrol blue/green glitter its soooo gorgeous. I like to apply this using duraline. I love how little fallout comes from these pigments. This is one of my all time favourite pigments I love it! So cool & unusual a must have in my opinion.

Pigment #81
I always gravatate towards cranberrys and this shade is just soooo beautiful. Its a prefect autum/winter shade just a beautiful pigment.

Pigment #
When I think of bronze this is excatly what I think of its the most beautiful bronze shade one of my favourites! Its just gorgeous on blue eyes.

Pigment #115

This is such a gorgeous pink champagne shade with reflects of gold and slivers. It looks different depending on what colours are paired with it. I love this shade its one of my most used pigments.

Price: €15.00

Body sparkles #68

These are some of my favorite glitters that I own they are so fine and easy to work with.
I just adore this colour its a bronze base with gold & pink reflects its soooo beautiful. The only down side is unlike the pigments there can be alot a bit of fallout so i'd advise doing your makeup first. I stick this down with a tiny bit of duo glue or even duraline but duo glue does work the best.

Body sparkles #49

This is one of my favorite glitters that I own its such a gorgeous gold shade that catches the light beautifully.

YSM foundation:
I have four shade in this foundation which I got in my kit for college.

Shade: 41, 49, 50, 51

I have a love hate relationship with this foundation. Its a cream based foundation which is supposed to mattify the skin.I actually love the foundation on myself. But when using it on clients I realised that it only suits certain skin types when its on its own. It became chalky on some skins and oily on others which was strange, On some skin types however this foundation was gorgeous especially older skin. So I didn't want to give up on it so easy. Now when using it on clients I will mix it in with different foundations and I works perfectly.
Price: €20.00

HD foundation
I love this foundation! I use it on lots of my clients. I find these foundations works best for oily skin types, however for drier skin I will mix ether a dewy foundation with it or an illuminator and it works amazing too.

As you can see in the picture above it picks up fab on camera with no need for filters or edits. I love this and so does my clients. I have shade 73 and 77 and I tend to mix them to get a prefect match for my clients I will be picking up more colours for my kit because they are amazing.
Price: €33.00

Under eye concealer
This concealer is lovely! It is creamy, lightweight and hydrating which I love as I've got dry skin so I hate when concealers dry me out. I use this on clients with dry and mature skin but wouldn't us it on oiler clients. I always set this concealer like any other with a powder.
I find this shade works on lots of skin tones.
Price:€16.00

AMC face & body illuminator #61
I am obsessed with this product. It is such a gorgeous universal liquid illuminator. On myself and younger clients I like to apply this all over the face mixed in with or after primer. For more mature or oily clients I will apply after foundation and before powder in certain areas where I want the light to hit the face. I do this on mature clients as it does have a shimmer to it and wouldn't want it to settle into fine lines. On oily clients they prefect to have certain areas mattifyied so I like to stick to places where they want a glow rather than an all over glow. This is also beautiful mixed in with foundation for a gorgeous dewy finished.
under foundation for glow from within look.

I really hoped you enjoyed this makeup collection blog. Inglots is only of my all time favorite makeup brand, and I hope that my inglot collection just keeps expanding.

Induvidual Makeup brushes I cant do my makeup without.

The saying that a 'good worker never blames its tools' does not apply when it comes to makeup!
Good brushes is like 50% of the battle. Now this doesn't mean you need to go out and spend an arm & a leg on expensive brushes. There are so many pocket friendly brush brands that are are available now. This blog post is just all of my favourite brushes which I used on myself and clients on a day to day basis.

I'm condensing down my shamefully large brush collection to show you brushes that are a must have in my opinion.

Face brushes:

Nima brush Domed kabuki brush
Use: Cream contour

This brush is hands down the best cream contour brush I've used. It is dense with the longest hairs being in the centre and the shorter on the outer part of the brush making it a dream to apply and blend out your cream contour. This is a sythecthic brush so it can be used with cream or powders and makes cleaning it so easy.

Nima brush Flat topped kabuki brush
Use: foundation
This brush gives such a flawless finished to the skin. It has been my go since I got my hands on it like two years ago. Unfortunately Nima didn't stock this brush for awhile I noticed so I haven't got it in my kit but for personal use I love it and they do have it back in stock now so ill definitely be buying one for my kit. I like to bounce foundation onto my skin using this rather than circle motions, I use patting motions.
Price: €18.00

 Nima brush Angled kabuki brush
Use: bronzer/contour & blusher
I love this brush for bronzing up the face with bronzer. I then like to use the tip of it to contour as it gets right underneath the cheekbones. I also applies blush beautifully. You could also use cream products with this but for some reason I just keep this brush for powders.
Price: €18.00

 Nima Brush Round kabuki brush
Used: Setting powder/foundation
I used to use this brush mainly for powders but lately I've been using it to buff in foundation and omg its perfection! It gives the most flawless finish its my favourite brush to use on myself and clients at the moment!
Price: €18.00

I bought mine in a set of four for €50.00 which I think is incerdible value for money.

Zoeva 105/luxe highlight
I love this zoeva brush for highlighting the skin using a powdered highlight.
I also like it for setting the undereye area too. Its fluffy and precise which is why I love it for highlighting.
Price: €17.00

Zoeva 126/luxe cheek finish
I love using this brush to contour using powder. Its fits so prefect under the cheekbones plus its super fluffy which means it doesn't give to harsh of a contour which I like. It is similar to the nima brush domed kabuki in shape but the hairs on this our natural hairs and much longer which makes it much better to use for powders rather than creams.

Inglot 4SS

This brush has so many uses. Lots of my friends use it for foundation I personally don't but they love it for that!
I love to use mine to highlight my face with. I love using it on clients to give a seamless blend when applying concealer under their eye after doing eyeshadow. I also like using it after applying foundation with a large brush Ill buff the foundation around the hair line on clients to avoid it getting into their hair when using a large brush.

Eye brushes

Nima brush large & small flat shader brushes.
I love these two flat shader brushes the larger of the two I like to use to set my eyeshadow base. The smaller one I like to use for my brow bone & inner corner highlight. The smaller is great for the lower lash line too.
I got the two flat shader brushes came in a set of five brushes.

Zoeva 221/228 luxe crease brushes.
228 brush.

These two brushes are a must have in my kit i've a good few off each but to tell you the truth there isn't much defference between them. The 228 is slightly more tappered at the top and I do tend to reach for the one more so but both brushes a amazing blending brushes and ether one will do the job but I think I do slightly prefer the 228 than the 221.

221 brush
Both brushes price: €11.70

Zoeva 227/ Luxe soft definer
After going in with 221 or 228 zoeva brush to apply my transition shade, I will go in with this brush to add more definintion to my crease but still buffing it out but usually I dont take this brush as high as my fluffier blending brushes. The smaller and denser the brush the more product it will apply and the lower you usually want to keep it. I also love using this brush to apply my transtion colour to my lower lash liner. Its 100% a must have brush, I have a few off these in my kit. Its so similar to a Mac cosmetics 217 but for half the price.
Price:€11.70

Inglot 6ss
Okay so this is the last blending brush I promise. This brush is amazing when doing a blown out smokey eye. I like too apply my colour with a smaller blending brush and then buff it out with this brush. It gives such a seamless blend effortless. I loveeee this brush.

Zoeva 231 luxe petit crease
This brush makes adding blacks or darker shades fool proof. It is nice and dense but still fluffy blending out darker colours but never too high. It is also my go to brush for the lower lash line.

Blank Canvas e24
Zoeva 234/ luxe smoky shader
Again I have lots of theses brushes in my kit because they just come in handy for lots of different things. Both brushes are identical expect for the length of the handle all zoeva brushes are shorter than normal brushes which is great for travel.
I like to use these brushes to highlight my brow bone and inner corner. Its also nice to pack on shadow to the lid or even smoke out liner. I always use one to smoke out the lower lash line. People always forget about detail brushes but they really make a huge difference to the finish of an eye look & make tricky details easier to manage.

I love this brush to sculpt out my brows with concealer.

315 fine liner
This is the best pointed liner brush i've used the hairs are nice and short which makes it really easy to draw a wing. It also has a nice bend which makes it easy to apply liner all the way in to the inner corner. If you think using a liquid liner easier than gel you haven't used this brush because it makes it so fool proof.

Sorry if that was very long, but these are honestly brush I would recommend to anyone starting up a collection.
