My first experience of semi permanent mink lashes, from Eye spy lashes.

A popular beauty trend at the minute is definitely semi permanent mink eyelash extensions.
I was thinking about getting them for a while now, but like many I had my reservations.
I had many questions like
would they damage my natural lashes?
would they feel heavy on?

The girls at Eye spy lashes really put me at ease & answered all my questions making me feel very safe in their magic hands. The process took around an hour to complete.

They do not damage your natural lashes!
The lash glue the girls use is formulated to create a bond to the natural lash allowing for flexibility.

Sarah did my lashes she was so lovely & friendly a made me feel so comfortable.

My natural lashes would be average length they are long enough but the are soooo straight even when I curl them they just flop down that is the main reason why I wanted to get my lashes done.
We went with a medium length & a C curl, I wanted my lashes to look wispy & natural but have a slight curl and that is exactly how they turned out.

I could not get over how natural they looked. It didn't feel like I had anything on my lashes, I have felt heavier with certain mascaras!! I was so over the moon with them. They just shape your eyes beautifully. I can see myself getting addicted to these.

People keeping stopping & admiring my lashes & are shocked when I tell them they are extensions.

Waking up in the morning is an easier sight to look at as you feel a little bit more human. Its so quick getting ready in the morning, just some foundation & lipstick and your done. You don't need to apply mascara to these lashes.

Before I got the lashes.

After I got the lashes.
To clean I just use an ear bud and water. I haven't used any mascara on them so its just to really keep an bacteria away. I use the Micellar water to remove my eye make up very gently around the lashes but I found it was fine to use on the lashes it didn't make them move.

It is best not to use any oil based products on the lashes as it can cause the glue to slip.

I have lost a few lashes here & there, but to be honest I am so surprised how well they have stayed on considering I have hay fever my eyes leak about five times a day, not to mention the rubbing.

The lashes cost €45 for a full set & then €25 for refills, Sarah said people usually get refills every month to maintain their lashes to top condition. I have them on a month now & am dying to get them refilled. They still look really natural. I thought having Hay fever they would irritate my eyes but they have done the complete opposite its so great not to have to curl or put mascara on every morning.

100% recommend the girls they are always booked up so book early to avoid disappointment.

Boots Botanics 'All bright' Micellar water Vs Garnier Micellar water

So, I have reviews on both the Garnier Micellar water & the Boots own brand Botanics 'All bright' range. Its only obvious that I would combined my two loves & try out the Boots All bright Micellar water.

I loved the Garnier water so much that I just had to try the boots brand. I used it for a month before doing this review the same as with the Garnier one. I feel the one thing that I could say stands out above the garnier one is a slight glow that your skin gets after using this, but when I slight I mean very very slight.

Other than that the Garnier water is the over the winner for me. Although their is wrong with the actual formula of the Boots Micellar water, It is only .... ml , the Garnier is 400ml. The price of the Boots one is cheaper, but again its less so works out about the same. The lid of the botanics annoys me aswell, it doesn't squirt out it is like a bottle of nail varnish if that makes sense? haha.
I hate giving bad reviews, I'd rather just not mention a product but this isn't a bad review I am just been picky because I am comparing two products against each other.

I feel if you tried & loved the Garnier one then there is no need for you to try this out, if your unsure in anyway of the garnier one you might aswell try out the boots one at the end of the day its not going to break the bank. It always good to try new things, I can't be mad at this product but when they both run out I know which one ill be repurchasing & that is the Garnier one which I love. Plus it's better value & lasts longer .
