LUSH cosmetics: Ocean Salt Face & Body Scrub.

This scrub is like a margarita for your face. The smell is just so fresh & gorgeous.

It is similar to the 'Rub,Rub Rub' body scrub also by lush but this one is safe to use on your face.
( I prefer the smell of this one too)

WHATS INSIDE?
This scrub is packed with Fine sea salt, which polishes and exfoliates the skin making it look brighter and fresher. While the minerals of the salt soften and hydrate the skin. The fresh grapefruit gives the scrub such a beautiful scent and because its a citrus fruit the natural acids help to soften dead skin to remove it. It also contains fresh organic lime extracted in vodka, yes Vodka! thats an interesting one. The vodka is actually supposed to remove any blockages from the pores. Who said vodka is bad for us?

I think the vodka is the reason it reminds me of tequila, could be the citrus & the salt smell also . Their is some avocado and coconut fat packed in there to so its very hydrating and soothing.

I love just smelling this scrub, its a great one to wake your skin and mind up in the morning because of all of the citrus. Its great for all skin types, but oil skins will benefit a great deal from this because citrus will remove any excess sebum (oil) from the face while all the sea minerals and coconut is putting good hydration back in. I have dehydrated skin though & I love this scrub, its an all rounder for all skin types.

HOW I USED IT?
I feel it works best when used in the shower/bath but can be used whenever. I splash my face with warm water and then apply the scrub straight onto the face and message gently in circular motions. I let it sit on my face for a minute or two and then I give it another rub and I just wash it off using warm water again.

MY THOUGHTS?
I really love this product. I love how it doubles as a body exfoliater, getting you lots of value for your money.
I am very fussy when it comes to body scrubs and this is one of the very few scrub products which i'd spend my money on!
It is a good consistency if that makes sense it gives the skin a good exfoliation without being to harsh. Most exfoliaters I have used tend to be to light and just doesn't do enough for me, just a waste of time & money.
I'd only use this once a week for my face but I love to exfoliate my body regularly as I love wearing tan so I'd use it alot on my body. Its actually amazing for removing tan. The citrus fruit in this just strips the tan and the salt just buffs it right off.

LIKES: The smell is just amazing, I could sniff it all day long. It didn't make me break out ether which is a huge plus for me because I have to be very picky with face scrubs as I tend to be sensitive to them. I love the clean, fresh feeling it leaves on the skin.

DISLIKES: Avoid getting it near your mouth just because of how salty it tastes. It does not taste like a margarita although it may smell like one haha!

HOW TO: deep clean your makeup brushes.

Deep cleaning your brushes is so important.
It is the foundation of good skin care. If you don't clean your brushes dirt and bacteria will build up and each time you use your brushes the dirt will transfer onto your face. This will lead to break outs and will make applying your makeup up a difficult task.

Lush: Dream cream.

Lush dream cream really is the dream
It is one of Lush's best sellers and I can completely see why.
It is suitable for even the most sensitive of skin types. Anyone will love this cream it skins straight into the skin locking in moisture deep in the skin.

Rimmel London: Sun Shimmer Self Tan Mousse/ Tanning tips.

McCabes Pharmacy kindly gave me this gorgeous tan to try out previous to our in store launch. I was giving the shade 'Dark matte' , even though I would usually be a 'Light shimmer' sort of gal when buying sun shimmer. So I was a bit nervous if I would like the shade or not.

However I was pleasantly surprised..
